What does a black bear and a person dressed as Mickey Mouse followed by a Baboon and someone dressed as Pooh give you? VIETNAM. Needless to say, this place has offered some sights to be remembered. Some funnier than others, but all beautiful in their own respect.
Between the delicious vietnamese cuisine, fresh beers, finely tailored clothing, and ancient architecture, Vietnam has hit our heart strings. We have traveled from the South about half way up the coastline of the country. We are now in Hoi An and headed to Hanoi in the days of morrow. The sand dunes of Mui Ne were hot and sweaty, the beaches of Nha Trang were sunny a gorgeous, and the heritage of the Vietnamese people found in Hoi An is fascinating.
The traditional dish of 'Pho' and fried noodle dishes are swarming in our bellies and after serious contemplation, we have decided that Vietnam is the least smelly of all the southeast asian countries we have visited. Which gives it major bonus points in my book.
As we come to a close of our Southeast Asia portion of our travels, we are looking back with mind-blowing memories, cherished friendships, and too many good times to count. We love and miss you all back home, and hope you enjoy our picture frenzie...it has been a long time coming.

had a super time there. and yknow what, i bought a lantern too! as for the kids that got money out of you, i caved in and paid up when they told me to "be a man" ! (as if giving them money would make me one!! )
anyway, i guess your arent going back to saigon? if so id say make sure you go see the war remnants museum more - and cu chi tunnels? did you see them?
heading north means off to the halong bay - in which case my one piece of advice is get an overnight boat and wake up early to catch the early morning mist on the bay - very mystical! love the blog,keep it up;

Hey, Kelita! Sounds like you have done Vietnam thoroughly. So, do you ogle the Indian men right back? Careful, there! Can't wait to learn what you see in India! Of all the seas you have swum, which is the saltiest, the Arabian Sea, the Andaman Sea, the Gulf of Thailand, or the South China Sea? Don't forget to take a dip in the Bay of Bengal! Watch out for those tigers and cobras! Ry is stoked about his trip, and I'm so glad ya'll will have such an awesome adventure together! Rock on!! Love momsie pooh
